New, improved recipe! These Steak Pies are much different than what we used to bake. These Steak Pies are filled with steak in a savory gravy studded with onions. We are very happy with how these turned out and we hope you are, too!

This year, the puff pastry top is not baked. We have fully cooked the steak & gravy filling and topped it with a piece of unbaked puff pastry. All you need to do is egg wash the cover (optional) and bake. Steak Pies bake in approximately 1 hour from frozen (350F), or to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Each pie weighs more than 227g (precooked weight), so while one very hungry person could eat one, each pie could serve two with a couple of side dishes.
